VANGUARD (1909.) 19,250 tons. Guns: 10 x 12 in., 50 cal.; 18 x 4 in. Destroyed by internal explosion, at Scapa Flow, 9th July, 1917. For appearance, see photo of ST. VINCENT, on page 58.

KING EDWARD VII (1903). 16,350 tons. Guns: 4 x 12 in. IX, 40 cal.; 4 x 9.2 in. X, 45 cal.; 10 x 6 in. VIII 45 cal.; 12 x 12 pdr., etc. Mined off N. Scottish coast, lat. 58.43 N. long. 4 12 W., 6th January, 1916.

BRITANNIA (1904). Sister to KING EDWARD VII, above. Torpedoed by a German Submarine off Cape Trafalgar, 9th November, 1918.

TRIUMPH (1903). 11,985 tons. Guns: 4 x 1O in., 45 cal.; 14 x 7.5 in. II, 50 cal.; 14 x 14 pdr., etc. Torpedoed by German Submarine U 51 off Gaba Tepe, Gallipoli peninsula, 25th May, 1915.

RUSSELL (1901). 14,000 tons. Guns : 4 x 12 in. IX, 40 cal.; 12 x 6 in. VII 45 cal.; 12 x 12 pdr., etc. Mined off Malta, 27th April, 1916.

CORNWALLIS (1901). Sister to RUSSELL, above. Torpedoed by German Submarine, 60 miles S.E. of Malta., 9th January, 1917.

BULWARK (1899). 15,000 tons. Guns: 4 x 12 in. 1X, 40 cal.; 12 x 6 in. VII, 45 Cal.; 18 x12 pdr., etc. Destroyed by internal explosion at Sheerness, 26th November, 1914.

FORMIDABLE (1898). Sister to BULWARK above. Torpedoed by German Submarine U 24, off Portland Bill, 1st January, 1915.

IRRESISTIBLE (1898). Sister to BULWARK above. Sunk by torpedo from White Cliffs, in the Dardanelles, 18th March, 1915.

OCEAN (1898). 12,950 tons. Guns : 4 x 12 in. VIII, 35 cal.; 12 x 6 in., 40 cal.; 12 x 12 pdr., etc. Sunk by torpedo, from White Cliffs, in the Dardanelles, 18th March, 1915.

GOLIATH (1898). Sister to OCEAN, above. Torpedoed by Turkish Destroyer MUAVENET-I-MILET off De Tott's Battery, in the Dardanelles, 13th May, 1915.

MAJESTIC (1895). 14,900 tons. Guns: 4 x 12 in; VIII, 35 cal.; 12 x 6 in; 40 cal.; 6 x 12 pdr., etc. Torpedoed by German Submarine U 23 off W. Beach, Gallipoli Peninsula, 27th May 1915.
