ANCHUSA (1917). 1290 tons. Guns : 2 x 4 in., etc. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, off the North Coast of Ireland, 16th July, 1918. For appearance, see photo of POLYANTHUS, on p. 132.

ARBUTUS (1917). Sister to ANCHUSA, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Foundered in St. George's Channel, during very heavy weather, after being torpedoed by a German Submarine, 16th December, 1917.

BERGAMOT (1917). Sister to ANCHUSA, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, in the Atlantic, 13th August, 1917.

CANDYTUFT (1917). Sister to ANCHUSA, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, off Bougie, 18th November, 1917.

COWSLIP (1917 ). Sister to ANCHUSA, above. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, off Cape Spartel, 25th April, 1918.

GAILLARDIA (1917). Sister to ANCHUSA, above. Mined off the Orkneys, night of 22nd-23rd March, 1918.

RHODODENDRON (1917). Sister to ANCHUSA, above. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, in the North Sea, 5th May, 1918.

ALYSSUM (1915). 1250 tons. Armament as ANCHUSA, above. Mined off S.W. Coast of Ireland, 18th March, 1917.

ARABIS (1915). Sister to ALYSSUM, above. Torpedoed by German Destroyers, off Dogger Bank, night of 10-11th February, 1916.

GENISTA (1916). Sister to ALYSSUM, above. Torpedoed by a German Submarine, off West Coast of Ireland, 23rd October, 1916.

GENTIAN and MYRTLE (1915). Sisters to ALYSSUM, above. Both mined in the Gulf of Finland, 16th July, 1919.

MIGNONETTE (1916). Sister to ALYSSUM, above. Mined off S. W. Coast of Ireland, 17th March, 1917.

NASTURTIUM (1915). Sister to ALYSSUM, above. Mined in the Mediterranean, 27th April, 1916.

PRIMULA (1915). Sister to ALYSSUM, above. Torpedoed by German Submarine U 35 in Eastern Mediterranean, 1st March, 1916.

SALVIA (1916). Sister to ALYSSUM, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Torpedoed by a German Submarine off West Coast of Ireland, 20th June, 1917.

TULIP (1916). Sister to ALYSSUM, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Torpedoed by a German Submarine in the Atlantic, 30th April, 1917.

ASTER (1915). 1200 tons. Armament as ANCHUSA. Mined in the Mediterranean, 4th July, 1917.

LAVENDER (1915). Sister to ASTER, above. Torpedoed by a German Submarine in the English Channel 5th May, 1917.

BEGONIA (1915). Sister to ASTER, above, but employed as a Special Service Ship. Missing, believed torpedoed by a German Submarine in the Atlantic, October, 1917.
