  • 535 tons.
  • Complement, 75.
  • Dimensions : 170 x 31 x 6.75 feet.
  • Guns: 2 - 6 inch, 1 - 3 inch AA. in M 31, M 33), 1 - 6 pdr. AA., 4 or 2 M.G.
  • Designed H.P. 400 = 10 kts.
  • Machinery: Triple expansion. 2 screws. Boilers : Yarrow. Oil fuel 45 tons.
  • M 30 lost during the War.
  • Notes: All Emergency War Programme.

  • Completed May - October, 1915.
  • 540 tons.
  • Complement. 67 - 82.
  • Dimensions: 170 x 31 x 6 feet.
  • Guns: M 19 - 20 as M .16 -18 below, M 22 also as those below, but 1 - 12 pdr. and 1 - 3 pdr. extra. M 23 - 26, 1 - 7-5 inch, I or 2 - 3 inch AA., 1 - 12 pdr. and (in some) 1 - 6 pdr. or 2 - 2. pdr. AA., or pom-pom, 2 M.G. M 27, 1 - 4.7 inch, 2 - 3 inch AA., 2 - 2 pdr. pom-pom, 2 - M.G..
  • Machinery: M 19 - 20, 23 - 27 Bolinders oil engines, 640 B.H.P. M 22, triple expansion engines and White-Forster boilers. I.H.P. 650. 4 screws in M 24, 26, 27, 2 in others. Speed : 12 kts. in all. Oil : 25 - 28 tons.
  • M 22 and M 28 of this class lost during the War.

M 16, M 17, M 18. Built by Messrs. Gray & Co.

  • Launched - April - May, 1915,
  • Completed June - July, 1915.
  • Guns: 1 - 9-2 inch, 1 - 3 inch AA., 2 M.G
  • I.H.P. 800 = 12 kts. Triple expansion engines. 2 screws. Boilers : Loco. Oil: 32 tons.
  • All other details as M 19 - 27 above, from which they differ in appearance.
  • M 15 lost during the War.
